Before reporting an issue

• Run all updates: sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade
• Reboot and confirm the issue still happens
• Check if the same issue is already reported on GitLab

How to report bugs

Use the Ubuntu Unity GitLab group: https://gitlab.com/ubuntu-unity

Include these details so maintainers can reproduce quickly:

• Exact release and ISO version
• Hardware details (or VM configuration)
• Steps to reproduce and expected behavior
• Actual behavior and logs/screenshots

dmesg | tail -n 120

HWE kernel on 24.04 LTS

If you need newer hardware support on 24.04 LTS, install HWE and reboot:

sudo apt update
sudo apt install --install-recommends linux-generic-hwe-24.04
sudo reboot
