Which release should I install?
We recommend Ubuntu Unity 24.04.4 LTS for most users. It is the most stable option and is supported until 2027.
Is Ubuntu Unity 26.04 an LTS release?
No. Ubuntu Unity 26.04 will be a regular release (not LTS). If you want long-term stability, stay on 24.04.4 LTS.
What is the status of Ubuntu Unity 25.04?
Ubuntu Unity 25.04 has reached end of life (EOL). We do not recommend it for new installations.
